Expressing feelings and intuition on situations in a figurative way

Creating  portraits that are an expression of the "world of the person", not only a face.

Hoping for a resonance with you

I wish my paintings to talk to people, to communicate an understanding of global human experience through my own experience. I am not attracted by cryptic communication in my paintings. My aim is the opposite: I want to be as direct as possible. Ultimately, I wish that each of my paintings could be a link between people experiencing similar emotions or situations.

I let myself go with what I feel here and then, what is touching me, being in the past or in the present...  I am often surprised by how much intuition on situations can come into my paintings. And I like to write the title inside the painting as the words associated to it are for me an important part of it.

From 2004, I was called back in my previous passion as a child: painting and drawing. Like many others, I had left this passion aside to enter a safer path with a high education and business career.  But painting has always been close to my heart.
